Location in Ironwood, Michigan Re-Opened
After almost five months of recovering from a structure fire, the Krist location in Ironwood, Michigan has re-opened as of July 19. On February 21 at 5:55am the incident was reported by the Ironwood store manager. The Ironwood Public Safety Department was dispatched soon after. Vigilant first responders arrived on the scene and quickly controlled the situation. Upon arriving at the scene, officers identified the cause of the fire. At the back of the building, they found a 500-gallon propane tank and a downed power line both on fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt and no further damage was done to the building or surrounding property. Thanks to the efficiency and vigilance of the community’s first responders, the impact of the damage was limited.
