We are looking for a proactive, execution-focused marketing professional who understands the fast-paced nature of convenience retail. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing big-picture planning with in-store execution. This person will play a key role in elevating Krist’s brand presence and marketing impact across all locations.

Job Description:

The Marketing Manager will help lead and oversee the Krist Marketing Department with a strong focus on convenience store (c-store) marketing execution. This role will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing c-store specific campaigns, promotions, and in-store signage while ensuring consistency across all Krist locations. The Marketing Manager will serve as a key coordinator between marketing, operations, store teams, and vendor partners to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively and on time.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in convenience retail, foodservice or beverage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations and store teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to execute both strategic and hands-on tasks.
  • Experience working with vendors, distributors, or brand partners is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Marketing in overseeing the Krist Marketing Department and overall marketing strategy.
  • Plan, develop, and execute c-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives across all locations.
  • Create, manage, and distribute in-store signage, point-of-sale (POS) materials, shelf talkers, and promotional displays.
  • Oversee promotional calendar execution, ensuring alignment with product launches, seasonal events, and vendor programs.
  • Coordinate closely with store managers, district managers, and operations teams to ensure proper implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with beverage, foodservice, and retail category teams to align promotions with product priorities.
  • Work with vendors, distributors, and brand partners to execute co-branded promotions, displays, and activations.
  • Manage installation and compliance of displays, end caps, cooler signage, and promotional materials in stores.
  • Assist with merchandising direction related to marketing initiatives, including promotional placement and visual standards.
  • Support digital c-store marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and website updated when applicable.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of promotions and campaigns (sales impact, engagement, execution success) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on c-store trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to bring forward new ideas.
