Krist Oil Regional Retail Supervisor, First Sergeant Wesley (Wes) Amerson graduates from Sergeants Major Academy.
Friday, March 31 our Regional Retail Supervisor, Wes Amerson graduated from Sergeant Major Academy. The Sergeants Major Academy prepares Master Sergeants and Sergeants Major to elevate from a tactical level of thinking to an operations and strategic perspective. Thus preparing them for leadership positions in organizations executing unified land operations.
During Wes’s two years of schooling, he worked for Krist Oil full time, led worship at church, and assisted with youth events. Most importantly, he spent time with his wife and two boys. The completion of this course makes Wes eligible for a Sergeant Major position. This is the highest rank achievable as a non-commissioned officer. Wes has served in the army for 20 years, completing two combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. And many non-combat deployments including Hurricane Katrina relief, Latia, Egypt, and Poland.
