Krist Oil Transport Supervisor Was Awarded the Patriot Award

Krist Oil Transport Supervisor, Kiel Atanasoff, was awarded the Patriot Award by the Department of Defense for his continued support for service member and former Krist employee, David Froland. David Froland nominated his employer Kiel for this award after his deployment to Washington D.C. Froland expressed his gratitude for the support he was given during his deployment by his employer, Kiel Atanasoff.  

“During my deployment Kiel went above and beyond for me and my family. He called me numerous times to check-in and see if there was anything I needed and how I was doing. After talking to Kiel about how my wife Ericka was having a difficult time finding a job that would work with our family’s schedule he quickly got her a position at Krist Oil. I can’t put into words just how grateful I am to be a part of the Krist Oil family.”

Krist Oil is a family owned and operated company since 1917. They have 75 plus convenient store locations across Michigan, Northern Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Krist Oil also operates several propane plants in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northern Wisconsin supplying propane and fuel oil to area homes.
